bell hooks has said multiple times she is not a fan of the use of the term intersectionality. That white supremacist, capitalist, patriarchy, is sufficiently encompassing.

It's very dated, from 1997. Still, she makes great points that are still pertinent. I appreciated her view that, instead of saying "racism", we're sometimes better off saying "white supremacy", since the former keeps white people at the centre of the discussion. The latter, not so much.
